The Three Billy Goats Gruff
By Cole W., 4th Grade
One day a miniscule goat was tapping across a bridge while humming a joyful tune. Then a huge troll hungrily leaped up from under the bridge. On the bridge the troll exclaimed, “This is private property, emphasis on the word private!” The small goat sadly exclaimed, “I am thin, I think a bigger goat is coming soon, you should eat him instead.” That goat passed across the bridge safely.
When the medium goat ambled across the bridge, the troll went on and on about how thin the next goat was and delicious food. Then on the bridge the goat woozily proclaimed “I have this rash on my back which is itching like crazy.” So the troll angrily let him go because it did not want to eat the rash. So that goat ambled on.
Then the biggest goat heavily stomped across the bridge. Under the bridge the troll cowered in fear because this goat was buff. When the troll came up he asked whether the goat worked out, which would not be an exaggeration. In response the goat murmured “no I eat a lot and work out, I am also hungry.” The trolls final words where “uh oh.” The big goat crossed with a full stomach to say the least.
