Writing with Power: Parallelism and Antithesis (Rising Grades 7–10)

In this workshop, students will learn how parallelism and antithesis can make writing more forceful, balanced, and memorable. Through guided examples and practice, they will study how strong writers use repeated structures and contrasting ideas, then apply these techniques to strengthen their own sentences and essays.
