Fun and Enjoyable Memories

What is your favorite place to explore? North Avenue Beach is a calming place close to where I live. My family explores this place almost every weekend. I enjoy eating at the food trucks, riding my bike on the sidewalk by the beach, and watching air shows with cool planes.

At the North Avenue Beach, there are a variety of food trucks, which are scattered in a line across the beach. I go to the beach during the summer in the morning and the evening. One of my favorite activities is to explore what foods they sell. In the morning, there is no crowd of people at the food trucks. However, in the evening there are crowds of people patiently waiting for their food while cars honk loudly on the road by the beach. I can smell the sweet aroma with a hint of pizza and Mexican food mixed in. All of these delicious smells attract people from shops and malls. Many people including myself line up to get a refreshing drink like lemonade, but I like to get a strawberry banana smoothie. It is my favorite! Food trucks are one of the attractions at North Avenue Beach.

  In addition to the food trucks, there is a meandering concrete sidewalk meant for biking. The best time to ride bikes is during the springtime when it is warm. I’ve been riding my bike at the beach since I was seven years old. While I bike, I feel the relaxing wind lightly  blow against my face. I also hear the ice-cream truck play its music. On one part of the sidewalk, there is a steep slant, which could cause you to fall into the water if you are not careful. At the end of the path, there is a calm sanctuary where my family eats and rests. Biking here is fun.

Other than the food trucks and the sidewalk for biking, North Avenue Beach also has an air show. There are a variety of exciting planes that perform for you to watch. The airplanes dangerously do tricks by flying in circles and even upside down. I wonder if the pilots get headaches or if they have a way to prevent their headaches. It is fascinating to see huge airplanes hovering above your head. While airplanes in the air are doing tricks, people are taking photos standing in front of the planes on the ground and just of the planes themselves. At the North Avenue Beach, there are fascinating air shows that many people enjoy watching.

At the North Avenue Beach, there are food trucks, sidewalks for biking, and airplane shows. There are food trucks that offer many different types of food, sidewalks for biking along the beach, and an entertaining airplane show. The North Avenue Beach is like a second home for me since I go there a lot and it creates many fun and enjoyable memories.
